Frank Murray Dixon (July 25, 1892 – October 11, 1965) was an American Democratic politician who was the 40th Governor of Alabama from 1939 to 1943. Born in Oakland, California in 1892, he died in Birmingham, Alabama in 1965. His interment was located in Birmingham's Oak Hill Cemetery.
Dixon took part in World War I and served as an aerial observer and machine gunner. During a battle in 1918, he was wounded, and his right leg was amputated as a result. He was eventually decorated by the French government with the Croix de Guerre with Palm.
